【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청이 8일 오후 3시 30분, 가온미래인재개발원에서 ‘2025 초등 대구미래학교 콘퍼런스’를 개최했다. 이날 행사에는 초등 대구미래학교 및 일반학교 교원 250여 명이 자리해 학교 변화 과정과 그동안의 성과를 함께 나눴다.
대구미래학교는 기초역량을 토대로 탐구 중심 학습과 주도적 학습 습관을 강화해, 미래 사회에서 요구되는 핵심 역량을 기르는 공교육 혁신 모델로 평가받고 있다. 이번 콘퍼런스에서는 그동안의 변화 흐름을 점검하고, 지속 가능한 성장 방향을 모색하는 시간을 가졌다. 또 대구미래학교의 운영 원리와 교수·학습 모델을 일반학교까지 퍼뜨려 지역 전체의 학교 교육력을 높이겠다는 목표도 제시됐다.
콘퍼런스는 ‘대구미래학교 3색 이야기’, ‘대구미래학교 수업 이야기’, ‘대구미래학교에 묻다’ 순으로 진행됐다.
1부 ‘대구미래학교 3색 이야기’에서는 율하초 김영학 교사가 긍정적인 학교 문화 형성과 변화 사례를 소개했다. 이어 지산초 김영주 교사가 학교 및 학년 교육과정 설계와 운영 경험을, 대산초 오두희 교사가 지속 가능한 성장을 위한 지원 체계를 각각 발표했다.
2부 ‘대구미래학교 수업 이야기’에서는 반송초 백재열 교사가 ‘학습의 사고(4go)’와 10대 필수 학습 기능을 접목한 실제 수업 사례를 통해, 교실수업 변화의 생생한 모습을 전했다.
마지막 순서인 ‘대구미래학교에 묻다’는 강연자와 참가자가 함께하는 미니 토크콘서트로 진행됐다. 현장에서는 운영 체제, 교육과정, 수업, 성장지원 등 다양한 주제를 두고 질의응답과 토론이 이어졌다.
강은희 대구시교육감은 “대구미래학교가 출범한 이후 쌓아온 변화를 구체적으로 살펴보고, 앞으로의 발전 방향을 함께 논의하는 뜻깊은 시간이었다”며 “대구미래학교의 교실수업 혁신 모델이 일반학교까지 확산될 수 있도록 꾸준히 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Following this, Kim Young-joo, a teacher at Jisan Elementary School, shared his experience designing and implementing school and grade-level curriculum, while Oh Du-hee, a teacher at Daesan Elementary School, presented a support system for sustainable growth.
In Part 2, "Daegu Future School Class Stories," Baek Jae-yeol, a teacher at Bansong Elementary School, shared a vivid picture of classroom transformation through a real-life case study incorporating "4go" (learning mindset) and 10 essential learning skills.
The final session, "Ask Daegu Future School," featured a mini-talk concert featuring speakers and participants. Questions and answers and discussions ensued on a variety of topics, including operating systems, curriculum, classes, and growth support.
Daegu Metropolitan Superintendent of Education Kang Eun-hee said, “It was a meaningful time to take a detailed look at the changes that have accumulated since the launch of Daegu Future School and discuss the direction of future development together,” and added, “We will continue to provide support so that Daegu Future School’s classroom teaching innovation model can spread to regular schools.”
