축제 기간 동안 죽령천 일대는 온 세대가 함께 즐길 수 있는 ‘추억의 얼음마당’으로 변신한다.
얼음 썰매와 팽이치기, 얼음판 줄다리기, 이색컬링 등 전통과 창의가 어우러진 다채로운 얼음 놀이가 펼쳐지며, 누구나 참여할 수 있는 시간대별 대회도 운영된다.
잊고 지냈던 어른들의 향수와 처음 접하는 아이들의 호기심이 어우러지며, 단양만의 세대 공감형 겨울 놀이터가 될 것으로 기대된다.
