양기대 전 국회의원은 9일, 이재명 대통령과 손정의 일본 소프트뱅크 회장의 대담과 관련해 “AI(인공지능) 시대는 전기를 지배하는 자가 세계를 지배하는 시대”라며 “대한민국이 ASI(초인공지능) 시대를 주도하기 위해서는 전력 확보를 국가 핵심전략으로 격상해야 한다”고 강조했다.
양 전 의원은 이날 자신의 SNS 메시지를 통해 “손 회장이 이재명 대통령에게 ‘첫째도, 둘째도, 셋째도 ASI에 집중하라’고 조언한 것은 인간 두뇌의 1만 배 능력을 가진 초인공지능 시대에 대한 분명한 경고”라며 “그러나 손 회장이 한국의 ‘결정적 약점’으로 지적한 전력 부족 문제는 국가 경쟁력의 근본을 흔드는 심각한 리스크”라고 지적했다.
