【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 달서구가 보건복지부가 주관하는 ‘2025년 지역복지사업 평가’에서 사회서비스 일자리 창출 부문 4년 연속 우수기관으로 선정됐다.
이번 평가는 전국 229개 지방자치단체를 대상으로 일자리 창출 실적, 사업 추진 체계, 사회복지 종사자 처우 개선 등 4개 항목을 종합적으로 심사해 우수 지자체를 가리는 방식으로 진행됐다.
달서구는 일자리 중심의 조직 운영, 유관기관과의 협력 강화, 사회서비스 분야에서의 실질적인 성과를 높게 평가받았다.
달서구는 지역일자리 목표 공시제를 기반으로 사회서비스 일자리 창출을 체계적으로 추진해 왔으며, 취약계층을 대상으로 한 기관 간 연계 사업과 청년 맞춤형 취업지원 프로그램도 다양하게 운영하고 있다. 장애인과 노인을 대상으로 한 공공일자리 사업도 꾸준히 확대했다.
특히 ‘미래모빌리티 전환 기업혁신성장 지원사업’과 ‘AI 기반 제조·품질관리 전문가 양성사업’ 등 지역·산업 맞춤형 일자리 창출 지원사업을 통해 지역 기업의 경쟁력 강화와 청년 취업 기회 확대에 기여한 점이 주목을 받았다.
노인일자리 분야 역시 달서구의 강점으로 꼽힌다. 백세밥상 창업모델 ‘진이찬방’, 자원순환형 노인일자리 ‘백세보물상’, 사회서비스형 ‘달서 with-U 스팀세차장’ 등 지역 특성과 참여 경력을 결합한 다양한 모델이 안정적으로 자리 잡으며 호평을 받고 있다.
이 같은 성과에 힘입어 달서구는 고용노동부 ‘전국 지방자치단체 일자리대상’을 8년 연속 수상했으며, ‘사회적기업육성 우수자치단체’, ‘지방자치단체 사회적경제 정책평가’ 등 각종 평가에서도 상위권을 지키고 있다.
달서구는 내년에도 ‘달서웨이 일자리 프로젝트’ 5대 핵심전략을 중심으로 신규 일자리 모델을 발굴하고, 공모사업 참여를 확대해 예산 확보에 박차를 가한다는 방침이다.
이태훈 달서구청장은 “달서구는 양질의 일자리 창출을 구정의 최우선 과제로 삼고 있다”며 “복지와 일자리가 결합된 지속가능한 일자리 생태계를 구축해 일자리 선도도시로 자리매김하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Dalseo-gu, Daegu, has been selected as an outstanding organization in the social service job creation category for the fourth consecutive year in the "2025 Regional Welfare Project Evaluation" hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
