[브레이크뉴스 양주=김완영 기자] 경기도 양주시가 12월 11일(목) 코레일, 12월 12일(금) 서울교통공사 철도노조의 파업 예고에 대비해 시민 불편을 최소화하기 위한 비상수송대책을 마련하고 적극 대응에 나선다.
국토교통부와 서울시에 따르면 철도노조가 파업을 할 경우 코레일 전동열차는 평시 대비 75.4%, 서울교통공사 전동열차는 72.7%의 운행률을 유지할 계획이다.
출퇴근 시간대 집중 배차를 통해 불편을 최소화한다는 방침이지만, 전철1호선 열차 운행이 축소되면서 서울 방면 출퇴근 시민들의 불편은 불가피할 전망이다.
시는 이에 대응하기 위해 관내 택시 운행을 독려하고, 양주역~덕계역~덕정역 구간을 운행하는 시내버스 노선에 예비차 13대를 추가 투입해 대체 수송력을 강화할 계획이다.
금번에 투입되는 예비차는 ▲31번 1대, ▲118번 1대, ▲80번 3대, ▲81번 2대, ▲82번 2대, ▲87번 2대, ▲99번 2대 등 총 13대다.
김지현 양주시 교통과장은 “코레일과 서울교통공사의 파업으로 시민 불편이 예상되는 만큼, 시 차원에서 가용자원을 총동원해 시민 불편 최소화에 적극 대응하겠다”며 “시민들께서도 운행정보를 사전에 확인하고 대체교통수단을 적극 활용해 주시길 당부드린다”고 말했다.
