한국사학진흥재단, ‘2025 지역사회공헌 인정제’ 2년 연속 선정

【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=한국사학진흥재단(이사장 이하운)이 보건복지부와 한국사회복지협의회가 공동 주관한 ‘2025 지역사회공헌 인정제’에서 지난해에 이어 2년 연속 인정기관으로 선정됐다. 

이번에 재단은 최우수 등급인 A+를 획득했으며, 지역사회 기여도가 높게 평가돼 대구광역시장상도 함께 받는 영예를 안았다.

‘지역사회공헌 인정제’는 지역의 다양한 문제 해결에 실질적으로 기여한 기업이나 기관을 대상으로 환경·사회·지배구조(ESG) 3개 영역, 7개 분야, 19개 세부지표를 바탕으로 평가해 선정하는 제도다.

한국사학진흥재단은 그동안 교육과 지역 상생을 중심으로 한 사회공헌 활동을 활발히 펼쳐온 점에서 높은 점수를 받은 것으로 나타났다. 

특히 지자체와 협력해 진행한 사회적경제 교육 페스티벌, 결식아동을 위한 영양지원 사업 등 지역 수요에 맞춘 맞춤형 프로그램들이 지역 사회문제 해결에 실질적으로 도움이 됐다는 평가다.

이하운 이사장은 “2년 연속 인정기관에 선정되고 대구시장상까지 수상하게 된 데에는 지역사회와 꾸준히 소통하며 공공기관으로서의 사회적 책임을 다하려 한 노력이 반영된 결과”라고 소감을 밝혔다. 이어 “앞으로도 나눔과 상생의 가치를 실천하며 지속가능한 사회적 가치 확산에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

The Korea Private Schools Foundation (Chairman Lee Ha-woon) has been recognized for the second consecutive year in the "2025 Community Contribution Recognition Program," co-hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korean Council on Social Welfare.

The Korea Private Schools Foundation received high marks for its active social contribution activities centered on education and community coexistence.

In particular, customized programs tailored to local needs, such as the Social Economy Education Festival and nutrition support programs for undernourished children, implemented in collaboration with local governments, were recognized as having made a substantial contribution to addressing local social issues.

Chairman Lee Ha-woon said, "Being selected as a recognized institution for two consecutive years and receiving the Daegu Mayor's Award reflects our efforts to consistently communicate with the local community and fulfill our social responsibility as a public institution." He added, "We will continue to practice the values ​​of sharing and coexistence and strive to spread sustainable social value."
