중앙선거관리위원회에 따르면, 제20대 새마을금고중앙회장을 뽑는 선거가 12월17일 천안시에 있는 MG 인재개발원 실내체육관에서 치러진다. 유권자 총 수는 전국 새마을금고 이사장 1276명. 후보는 김인 현 새마을금고중앙회장, 유재춘 서울축산새마을금고 이사장, 장재곤 종로광장새마을금고 이사장 등 3명이다.
김인 후보는 연임에 도전중이다. 유재춘 후보는 조직 혁신을 내세우고 있다. 장재곤 후보는 중앙회가 홈플러스를 인수하겠다는 파격공약을 내걸었다.

The National Federation of Korean Agricultural Cooperatives (NFC) Chairman Election: Three-Way Race Between Kim In, Yoo Jae-chun, and Jang Jae-gon

According to the National Election Commission, the election to elect the 20th Chairman of the National Federation of Korean Agricultural Cooperatives (NFC) will be held on December 17th at the MG Human Resources Development Center Indoor Gymnasium in Cheonan. The total number of eligible voters is 1,276. The three candidates are Kim In, current Chairman of the National Federation of Korean Agricultural Cooperatives (NFC), Yoo Jae-chun, Chairman of the Seoul Livestock NFC, and Jang Jae-gon, Chairman of the Jongno Plaza NFC.
Kim In is seeking re-election. Yoo Jae-chun is emphasizing organizational innovation. Jang Jae-gon has made a groundbreaking pledge: the NFC will acquire Homeplus.
