[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 지역 청년들의 글로벌 정책 역량을 강화하기 위해 추진한 '김해청년학교(글로컬 리더스쿨)' 해외 정책 연수가 괄목할 만한 성과를 거두고 행정 정책으로의 연계를 모색하고 있다. 시는 12일, 김해창업카페에서 연수 우수 수료생들이 참여한 해외정책연수 성과공유회를 개최했다.
이번 연수는 청년들이 제안한 정책의 실행력을 높이기 위한 심화 과정으로 운영됐다. 청년학교 1기 수료생 중 우수한 정책을 제안한 10명을 선발하여, 지난 11월 20일부터 23일까지 3박 4일간 일본 오사카와 교토 일원에서 진행됐다.
참가자들은 김해시 출자출연기관 소속 지도교수와 동행하여 도시재생, 환경, 지역 산업과의 연계 사례 등 김해시의 주요 현안과 직결된 분야에 초점을 맞춰 현장 학습을 체험했다.

홍태용 김해시장은 “청년들이 지역 안에만 머무르지 않고, 세계를 무대로 시야를 넓히고 돌아온 것은 우리 지역의 미래 정책 설계에 큰 자산”이라며 “청년이 지역의 변화와 혁신의 중심이 될 수 있도록 글로벌 역량 강화와 정책 실험 기회를 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
