<브레이크뉴스 원주=김일웅기자>원주시는 15일 오후 2시 시청 10층 대회의실에서 ‘원주형 통합 기업지원협의체 업무협약 및 출범식’을 개최하고, 관내 기업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 통합 지원체계를 본격 가동했다.
이번 협의체에는 원주시를 비롯해 총 16개 유관 기관이 참여했으며, 인허가·자금·인력·금융 등 기업 활동 전반에 걸친 지원을 유기적으로 연계해 기업의 행정·경영 부담을 줄이는 데 목적을 두고 있다.
그동안 관내 기업들은 분야별 지원을 받기 위해 여러 기관을 개별적으로 방문해야 하는 불편을 겪어왔으나, 협의체 출범으로 필요한 지원을 종합적으로 안내받고 연계할 수 있는 창구가 마련됐다.

이날 행사에는 지역 중소기업 2곳이 참석해 현장에서 겪는 애로사항을 공유했으며, 참여 기관들은 기업별 상황에 맞춘 해결 방안과 협력 방향을 제시했다.
원주시는 기업의 어려움을 상시적으로 파악하고 신속히 대응하기 위해 기관별 주무팀장으로 구성된 실무협의회를 운영할 계획이다. 실무협의회는 정례회의와 수시 협의를 통해 기업 지원의 실효성을 높일 방침이다.
원강수 원주시장은 “통합 기업지원협의체 출범은 기관 간 협업을 통해 기업 중심의 지원체계를 강화하기 위한 첫걸음”이라며 “기업이 체감할 수 있는 실질적 지원과 신속한 대응으로 지역 산업 경쟁력 제고에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
