【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 농업기술센터는 올해 추진한 농업기계 안전 교육을 성황리에 마무리됐다고 15일 밝혔다.
올해 교육은 교육생 특성에 맞춰 이론과 실습을 병행했으며 △안전사고 예방을 위한 기본 조작 요령 △장비 관리 요령 △무인기(드론) 기본 비행 조작 실습 등 현장에서 바로 활용할 수 있는 내용이 주를 이뤘다.
내년에는 기존 교육 기종(트랙터, 굴착기, 보행관리기, 경운기, 예초기, 무인기(드론) 등) 이외에도 ‘용접 기초 과정’을 신설할 예정이다.
한편 군은 본격적인 겨울철을 맞아 농업인의 안전한 영농 준비를 위한 농기계 보관 요령도 강조하고 있다.
경운기, 트랙터, 관리기 등 주로 사용되는 농기계가 대상이며 △엔진오일, 유압오일 점검, 교환 △부동액 확인 △연료, 배터리 관리 △장기 보관 전 청소, 윤활 작업 △서늘하고 건조한 장소 보관 등 기본적인 관리가 필수적이다.
또한 농기계 고장 사례 중 상당수가 겨울철 부적절한 보관에서 비롯되는 점을 감안해 장기간 미사용 시 주의해야 할 고장 유형과 간단한 자가 점검 방법도 함께 제공하고 있다.
남기순 군 농업기술센터 소장은 “올해 교육은 다양한 농업인의 수요를 반영해 실습 중심으로 구성해 큰 호응을 얻었다”며 “내년에는 신규 용접 과정 등 교육 선택 폭을 넓히고 농업기계 사용 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 위험에 대한 인식 개선과 안전 문화 정착을 위해 더욱 체계적인 교육을 제공하겠다”고 말했다.
