【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군은 행정안전부 주관 ‘2025년도 기후재난(폭염·한파·가뭄) 대응 평가’에서 우수기관(장려)으로 선정돼 특별교부세 5천만원을 확보했다고 16일 밝혔다.
이번 평가에서는 온열질환자 발생 규모, 감소율 등 인명피해 지표, 예방 활동 실적과 폭염대책비 예산 증가율 등 지방정부 노력도 등을 기준으로 종합적으로 판단했다.
총 13개 기관(시도 5, 시군구 8)을 선정했으며, 이중 진천군은 폭염분야 재난 대응 우수기관(장려)에 이름을 올렸다.
이영자 군 안전정책과장은 “군민의 안전을 최우선으로 생각하며 폭염 대응에 전 행정력을 집중한 결과”라며, “앞으로도 이상 기후에 철저히 대비하고, 군민이 안심하고 생활할 수 있는 안전 제일 생거진천을 만드는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 군은 2024년 재난대응 안전한국훈련 우수기관 선정, 2024년 재난관리평가 우수기관 선정 등 재난 안전 분야에서 지속적으로 우수한 평가를 받고 있다.
