【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 16일 군청 상황실에서 그린에너지 스마트농업타운 투자선도지구 지정 및 계획수립 용역의 중간보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 중간보고회는 현재까지의 사업의 추진 현황과 주요 성과를 점검하는 한편, 음성군 관련 부서와 관계기관의 다양한 의견을 폭넓게 청취해 이를 사업계획에 적극 반영하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 회의에는 충북개발공사, 한국동서발전, 한국농어촌공사 충북지역본부를 비롯한 관계기관과 군 관련 부서 실무자 등 30여 명이 참석해 사업 추진 상황을 공유하고 향후 계획을 논의했다.
또한 △투자선도지구 선정안 검토 △개발계획 및 추진전략 검토 △민간투자 등 사업 활성화 방안에 대한 발표와 논의가 이뤄졌다. 참석자들은 질의응답과 의견 수렴을 통해 사업의 완성도를 높일 방안을 모색했다.
군은 이번 중간보고회에서 제시된 다양한 의견을 적극적으로 반영해, 투자선도지구 지정 신청 등 후속 추진 일정을 차질 없이 진행한다는 방침이다.
아울러 사업에 대한 지역 주민의 이해와 참여를 높이기 위한 주민설명회와 민간투자 유치 활성화를 위한 투자설명회 등 실질적인 방안도 마련할 예정이다.
투자선도지구로 지정된 지역은 정부의 맞춤형 컨설팅 및 건폐율, 용적률 완화, 특별건축구역 지정, 국토부 규제샌드박스 지원, 인허가 처리기간 단축 등 73종 규제특례 혜택으로 다양한 분야의 민간투자가 활발히 이뤄질 전망이다.
이에 따라 군은 스마트팜 경영과 체험·관광 산업 육성 등을 추진해 주민 고용 확대와 일자리 창출, 소득 증대를 이루고, 궁극적으로는 외부 인구의 유입과 안정적인 정착을 이끄는 선순환 구조를 만들겠다는 구상이다.
군 관계자는 “이번 용역은 지방소멸 위기 극복과 탄소중립 실현이라는 시대적 과제를 해결하기 위해 추진하는 민관협력 대규모 프로젝트”라며 “협약기관과의 긴밀한 공조를 통해 대한민국을 대표하는 선도모델로 만들어 나가겠다”고 말했다.
한편 그린에너지 스마트농업타운 투자선도지구 조성사업은 119만㎡ 규모 부지에 총 4873억 원을 들여 추진되며, 2026년 투자선도지구 지정을 위한 세부계획 수립 후 2027년 실시설계와 토지 보상을 완료하고, 2028년부터 본격적으로 사업을 추진할 계획이다.
