【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 아동이 자신의 권리를 쉽고 재미있게 이해할 수 있도록 ‘아동권리 웹툰’을 제작하고 관내 학교와 어린이집·유치원·아동관련 유관기관 등을 대상으로 홍보를 본격 추진한다고 19일 밝혔다.
이번 아동권리 웹툰은 음성군 아동참여위원회, 아동권리 옴부즈퍼슨, 아동권리교육 실무협의체 위원이 함께 협업해 시나리오를 구상·제작한 것으로, 아동 당사자의 목소리와 아동권리 전문가의 관점을 고르게 반영한 점이 특징이다.
웹툰은 아동의 4대권리(생존권·보호권·발달권·참여권)에 대해 가정, 학교, 지역사회 등 일상생활 속에서 겪을 수 있는 권리침해 사례와 권리침해 시 보호받을 수 있는 옴부즈퍼슨을 홍보하는 내용으로 구성해 아이들이 자연스럽게 공감하며 이해할 수 있도록 제작했다.
군은 웹툰 제작과 더불어 아동권리 웹툰 홍보 포스터를 관내 초·중·고등학교, 유치원, 어린이집, 지역아동센터, 아동양육시설, 청소년 이용 시설 등 아동 유관시설에 배부하고 웹툰을 교육자료로 적극 활용해 줄 것을 요청했다.
포스터에는 웹툰 접속용 및 음성군 정책·사업에 대한 의견 제안, 권리침해 시 상담을 받을 수 있는 QR코드와 안내 문구가 함께 인쇄돼 있다. 학생과 학부모 등 군민 누구나 휴대전화로 QR코드를 촬영해 곧바로 웹툰 페이지에 접속, 열람할 수 있다.
군 관계자는 “이번 아동권리 웹툰은 아동참여위원회와 옴부즈퍼슨, 아동권리교육 실무협의체가 함께 머리를 맞대고 제작한 만큼, 아이들의 실제 경험과 의견이 잘 담겨 있다”고 말했다.
그러면서 “아이들이 자신의 권리를 알고, 친구와 이웃의 권리도 존중하는 문화를 만드는 데 도움이 되기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 아동·청소년, 지역 사회와 함께 소통하며 아동권리 교육과 홍보를 지속적으로 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
