지원센터는 22일 대한노인회 진천군지회와 진천군 장애인복지관에 약 1,100만 원 상당의 소불고기 밀키트를 전달했다.
이번 나눔은 지역 농축산물 소비를 촉진하고, 겨울철 식사 준비가 어려운 취약계층의 영양을 보충하기 위해 추진됐다.
이성종 진천군 농산물유통지원센터장은 “지역에서 생산된 신선한 농축산물을 활용해 이웃들에게 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있어 매우 뜻깊다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 상생할 수 있는 나눔 활동을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
한편 군은 지역 먹거리 선순환체계 구축을 위해 농산물 유통지원센터와 적극 협력하고 있다.
