브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 효성이 23일 ‘2025년 올해의 자랑스러운 효성인상’ 수상자를 선정하고 시상했다.
효성은 이날 효성중공업 미국 판매 법인인 HICO 아메리카의 빈스 키오도 상무를 비롯해 김형규 PL, 알렉스 에버트 PL, 라이언 번스 PL, 브랜든 김 PM 등 5명에게 상금 5천만 원과 상패를 수여했다.
이들 수상자는 지난 6월 약 3,600억 원 규모의 데이터센터용 초고압차단기 수주를 성사시킨 공로를 인정받았다. 해당 수주는 효성중공업의 역대 최대 규모 차단기 수주로, 북미 시장에서 초고압변압기 분야 점유율 1위를 이어온 데 더해 차단기 분야에서도 대형 고객 레퍼런스를 확보하는 계기가 됐다. 이를 통해 효성중공업은 북미 전력 인프라 시장에서의 입지를 한층 강화했다.
최우수 협력사에 수여하는 ‘올해의 효성인상 특별상’은 ㈜케이와이엠텍과 ㈜경남산기가 선정돼 각각 상금 2천만 원이 전달됐다. ㈜케이와이엠텍은 해외 원전 프로젝트용 펌프 주물을 공급하며 품질 경쟁력 강화와 원가 절감에 기여한 점을, ㈜경남산기는 미국 현지 공장에 초고압변압기용 탱크를 공급해 생산 안정화에 기여한 점을 인정받았다.
