[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원의 상징이자 생태계의 보고인 주남저수지가 '살아있는 역사'로 시민들을 찾아온다. 창원특례시는 오는 12월 26일부터 내년 1월 9일까지 시청 1층 로비에서 주남저수지의 변천사를 한눈에 볼 수 있는 특별 사진전 ‘시간을 걷다’를 개최한다고 23일 밝혔다.
이번 전시는 창원향토자료전시관이 제공한 약 50여 점의 사진들은 주남저수지가 겪어온 파란만장한 세월을 증언한다. 흑백 사진 속 옛 주민들의 생활상부터 현재의 광활한 습지 생태계까지 '스토리텔링형 구조'를 채택했다.
전시된 사진들은 주남저수지가 시대에 따라 어떻게 달리해 왔는지를 극명하게 보여준다. △보릿고개 시절 주민들의 젖줄이었던 농업용수 공급지로서의 모습과 치열했던 삶의 흔적들이 고스란히 담겼다. △환경사진 공모전 우수작들이 함께 배치되어, 세계적인 철새 도래지로서의 위상과 생물 다양성의 경이로움을 시각적으로 전달한다.
