【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 지난 23일 군청 대회의실에서 ‘2025년 아동참여기구 해단식’을 열고, 아동의 참여권 보장과 아동친화적 정책 실현을 위해 운영해 온 아동참여기구 활동을 마무리했다.
이날 행사에는 아동참여위원회, 아동권리모니터링단, 아동서포터즈(시니어유튜버)가 참여해 한 해 동안의 활동을 공유했다.
올해 아동참여위원회와 아동권리모니터링단은 총 9회기에 걸쳐 정책 제안과 모니터링, 아동권리 캠페인, 체험 부스 운영, 워크숍 등을 진행하며 아동의 시선에서 지역 정책을 바라보고 의견을 제시해 왔다.
아동서포터즈로 참여한 시니어유튜버들은 매 회기마다 활동 과정을 영상으로 기록하며 세대 간 협력의 의미를 더했다.
행사는 △개회식 △아동참여기구 수료증 수여 △아동서포터즈 감사패 전달 △기념사진 촬영 순으로 진행됐다.
이어 시니어유튜버가 제작한 활동 영상을 함께 시청하며 정책 제안과 실천 과정을 되짚는 시간도 가졌다.
특히 이재영 군수와 아동들이 직접 마주 앉아 대화를 나눈 ‘군수님과 아동정책 톡(Talk)톡(Talk)!’ 시간에는 아동들이 정책에 대한 생각과 활동 소감을 자유롭게 전하며 현장의 목소리를 전달했다.
군 관계자는 “아동참여기구는 아동이 지역사회의 주체로서 의견을 표현하고 정책 과정에 참여하는 중요한 통로”라며 “앞으로도 아동의 목소리가 군정에 반영될 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 군은 아동친화도시 조성을 위해 아동의 목소리가 정책에 반영될 수 있도록 2026년 아동참여기구에 참여할 아동을 내년 2월 모집 예정이다.
