수감 중인 정명석 기독교복음선교회 ‘정명석 목사의 재수사’를 촉구하는 집회가 지난 12월 27일 오후 4시부터 6시까지 용산 대통령실 앞에서 열렸다.
이날 약 50여명의 신도들과 관련자들이 참석했다.
이 집회에서는 기독교복음선교회 회원인 이연호 권사, 박선향 권사, 원주향 권사, 배병철 박사가 대전검찰청에 계류중인 정 목사 재수사인 진정사건 수사 촉구를 위한 발언을 했다.
배병철 법학박사는 이날 행사의 발언에서 “2022년 10월에 정명석 목사님에 대해서 공소제기된 사건에 대해서 사법부는 객관적 증거도 없이, 고소인들의 진술이 일관성이 없었음에도 불구하고, 소위 성인지감수성이라는 기준을 적용하여 고소인들의 진술이 신빙할 수 있다고 전제(前提)하는 한편, 법관이 가지는 증거판단의 기준인 자유심증의 한계를 넘어서, 즉 경험법칙과 논리법칙에 위반하여 (그리고 ‘의심스러운 때에는 피고인의 이익으로(in dubio pro reo)’ 원칙을 무시하고) 무리하게 유죄의 판결을 내렸습니다”면서 “법관들이 유죄의 심증을 굳히게 만든 중요한 자료는 고소인 중 M양이라는 사람이 제출한 음성녹취파일이었는데, 그 음성녹취파일은 숭실대학교 배명진 교수와 세계 최고 수준의 감정기관의 감정(鑑定) 결과 조작과 편집의 흔적이 너무나도 명백하였습니다.”고 주장했다.
이어 “정경시사포커스의 대표인 류재복 대기자(작가)는 올해 9월 그 음성녹취파일이 조작⋅편집되었으니, 그 여부를 수사해 달라고 대통령실에 민원을 제기했고, 대통령실에서는 그 민원을 대검찰청에 이송(移送)하였으며, 대검찰청은 대전지방검찰청으로 이송하였고, 대전지방검찰청에서는 진정사건 2025진정660호로 접수하여 여성아동범죄조사부 천의진 검사실에 배당하였습니다. 류재복 대기자는 검사의 ‘민원서류 보완 요청’에 따라서 ‘재수사요청서류’를 9월 25일에 제출한 바 있습니다.”고 지적했다.

방금 전 소개받은 법학박사 배병철입니다. 하나님, 성령님께 이 자리에 서게 해 주신 것을 감사드립니다. 정경시사포커스의 류재복 대기자님, 기독교복음선교회 성도연합 이승구 목사님, 그리고 기독교복음선교회 교인 및 국민 여러분들게 감사드립니다. 우리가 이 자리에 모인 것은 대한민국이 국민에 대해서 마땅히 가지고 있는 국가의 책무(責務)를 다해 달라고 호소하기 위해서입니다. 대한민국은 수사권(搜査權)과 재판(裁判權)을 위법한 방법으로 행사해서 국민의 한 사람인 기독교복음선교회 설립자인 정명석 목사가 하늘로부터 받은 인권(天賦人權)을 심각하게 침해했습니다.

여러분들은 반드시 연구조직(硏究組織)을 가져야 합니다. 문제가 무엇인지, 해결책은 무엇인지를 연구하여 교단에 건의하고 교단 중직자들과 의논해야 합니다. 시대 하나님의 말씀에 “연구하라, 교단 중심으로 의논하라.”는 말씀을 실천하여야 합니다. 다음으로 기독교복음선교회 교단의 대표님, 국장님들, 중직자들과, 지역장님들, 교역자님들, 목사님들, 장로님들, 권사님들 및 지도자들에게 호소합니다. 왜 여러분은 정명석 목사님의 억울함을 풀어드리는데 최선을 다하지 않으십니까? 왜 여러분들은 신앙의 선생이요, 인생의 스승이라고 하면서 따르는 정명석 목사님께서 하신 말씀에 순종하지 않습니까?
“하나되어라. 교단 중심으로 의논하라. 회개하라. 확인하라.” 등의 말씀을 실천하지 않습니까? 여러분들은 “그렇지 않다. 우리는 최선을 다했다. 말씀에 순종했다.”고 말할 것입니다. 그러나 하나님은 속일 수 없고, 예수님도 속일 수 없습니다. 기독교복음선교회 중직자와 지도자 여러분들은 하찮은 저조차도 속이지 못하였습니다. 성경 갈라디아 6:7에서는 “스스로 속이지 말라.”고 하였습니다. 예전에 교단은 제가 여러 목사님들을 비롯한 중직자들의 비위(非違)를 정명석 선생님께 보고하려고 하니까 보고를 하지 못하도록, 불법(不法)한 방법으로 저를 제명하여 제가 5년 7개월 동안이나 교회에 다니지 못하게도 하였습니다.

I am Dr. Bae Byeong-cheol, a doctor of law, whom I just introduced. I give thanks to God and the Holy Spirit for allowing me to stand here today. I thank Jae-bok Ryu, a senior reporter for Jeonggyeong Sisa Focus, Pastor Seung-gu Lee of the Christian Gospel Mission, the congregation of the Christian Gospel Mission, and all the citizens of the Republic of Korea. We are gathered here to appeal to the Republic of Korea to fulfill its national responsibility to its citizens. The Republic of Korea has unlawfully exercised its investigative and judicial powers, severely violating the divinely endowed human rights of Pastor Jeong Myeong-seok, founder of the Christian Gospel Mission and a citizen of the Republic of Korea.
