세종시의회,지방의회 기본과정 교육 실시

세종시의회는 29일 세종시의회 대회의실에서 의회사무처 직원을 대상으로 ‘지방의회 기본과정 교육’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

시의회에 따르면 이번 교육은 지방의회에 대한 기본 이해를 체계적으로 정리하고, 직무 수행에 필요한 핵심 역량을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다. 

이날 교육은 한국산업기술원 좋은정책연구소 김용석 소장이 강사로 참여해 ▲지방의회의 법적 기반 및 구성 체계 ▲지방의회의 역할과 기능 ▲의정활동 절차 및 운영체계 ▲의회 운영 관련 핵심 용어와 실무이해 등을 중심으로 진행됐다. 

특히, 실제 의회 운영 사례를 중심으로 강의를 구성해 교육의 이해도를 높였으며, 직원들이 현장에서 바로 활용할 수 있는 실무 중심 내용을 공유해 교육의 실효성을 높였다. 

임채성 의장은 “지방의회의 역할과 운영을 정확하게 이해하는 것이 의정지원의 출발점”이라며 “오늘 이 자리를 통해 직원들이 기초 역량을 강화하여 의정 지원을 효과적이고 체계적으로 실현하기를 기대한다”고 말했다.

The Sejong City Council announced on the 29th that it held a "Basic Local Council Training" for Council Secretariat staff in the Sejong City Council Conference Room.

According to the council, this training was designed to systematically establish a basic understanding of local councils and strengthen the core competencies necessary for performing their duties.

The training, led by Kim Yong-seok, Director of the Good Policy Research Institute at the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, focused on the following topics: ▲The legal basis and structure of local councils; ▲The roles and functions of local councils; ▲The procedures and operational system for legislative activities; ▲Key terminology and practical understanding related to council operations.

In particular, the lectures focused on real-life examples of council operations to enhance comprehension, and the sharing of practical content that employees can immediately apply in the field increased the effectiveness of the training.

Chairman Lim Chae-seong said, “A precise understanding of the role and operation of local councils is the starting point for supporting the council,” and added, “I hope that through today’s event, the staff will strengthen their basic capabilities and effectively and systematically implement council support.”
