브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= HS효성그룹이 연말을 맞아 이웃사랑 성금 2억 원을 사회복지공동모금회에 기탁했다.
HS효성그룹은 지난 29일 지주사를 비롯해 주요 계열사인 HS효성첨단소재, HS효성인포메이션시스템이 뜻을 모아 성금을 마련했으며, 전달된 기부금은 경제적 어려움을 겪고 있는 이웃과 지역사회를 지원하는 데 사용될 예정이라고 밝혔다.
HS효성그룹은 ‘가치, 또 같이’라는 그룹 슬로건 아래 기업의 성장과 더불어 사회적 책임을 실천하는 다양한 나눔 활동을 꾸준히 이어오고 있다. 지역사회와의 상생을 목표로 기부와 봉사활동을 지속하며 따뜻한 나눔 문화 확산에 앞장서고 있다.
조현상 HS효성 부회장은 “HS효성그룹은 사업을 통해 창출한 가치를 사회와 나누고, 이웃과 함께 더 나은 미래를 만들어가는 데 책임을 다해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
한편 HS효성그룹은 사회공헌 활동의 성과를 인정받아 올해 ‘2025 문화예술후원우수기관’에 신규 선정됐으며, 7년 연속 ‘지역사회공헌 인정기업’으로 선정돼 보건복지부장관 표창을 수상했다. 앞으로도 지속적인 사회적 가치 창출을 통해 기업의 사회적 책임을 실천해 나간다는 방침이다.
