브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 두산에너빌리티가 전남 영광 해상에 조성되는 대규모 해상풍력단지 사업을 수주하며 국내 해상풍력 시장 확대에 속도를 낸다.
두산에너빌리티는 31일 ㈜야월해상풍력과 약 104MW 규모의 영광 야월 해상풍력 발전단지 조성을 위한 EPC(설계·조달·시공) 공급 계약을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 계약 금액은 약 5750억원이다.
이번 사업은 전라남도 영광군 낙월면 해상에 두산에너빌리티가 독자 개발한 8MW급 해상풍력 발전기(DS205-8MW) 13기를 설치하는 프로젝트다. 두산에너빌리티는 발전기 공급을 포함해 단지 조성 전반에 걸친 EPC 전 공정을 수행하게 된다.
특히 이번 계약은 두산에너빌리티가 자체 기술로 개발한 8MW 해상풍력 발전기의 첫 공급 사례라는 점에서 의미가 크다. 해당 발전기는 2022년 국내 기술로 개발돼 UL 국제인증을 획득했으며, 유럽 대비 풍속이 낮은 한국 해상 환경에 최적화해 설계된 것이 특징이다.
