고양특례시가 당초 12월 31일 종료 예정이었던 '고양콘 특별전'을 관람객들의 폭발적인 반응에 힘입어 내년 1월 25일까지 연장 운영한다고 밝혔다.
'고양콘 특별전'은 2025년 한 해 동안 고양시에서 열린 글로벌 아티스트들의 콘서트를 기념하고, 고양관광특구를 특화·활성화하기 위해 지난 22일 첫 문을 열었다.

전시 개막 이후 입소문을 타고 단 10일 만에 약 1,500여 명의 관람객이 다녀갈 정도로 뜨거운 반응을 얻었다.
첫날 중부대학교 중국 유학생들의 모니터링 방문을 시작으로 다양한 연령대와 국적의 방문객들이 꾸준히 전시장을 찾고 있다.
이번 특별전은 2025년 고양종합운동장에서 총 18회 개최된 글로벌 콘서트를 중심으로 구성됐다.
세계적인 아티스트들의 사인이 담긴 포스터와 핸드프린팅, 응원봉 등이 전시되어 당시 콘서트의 열기를 생생하게 느낄 수 있다.

시 관계자는 "데이식스 팬들이 당시 공연 영상을 보며 그때의 감동을 다시 느끼는 모습을 보니 큰 보람을 느낀다"고 전했다.
시 관계자는 "올해는 첫 전시라 콘텐츠의 양이 풍족하지는 않았지만, 내년에는 더 많이 개최될 콘서트와 기록화 사업을 통해 더욱 풍성한 특별전이 될 것"이라고 밝혔다.
