<브레이크뉴스 속초= 김일웅 기자>이병선 속초시장과 시 간부 공무원 일동은 1월 2일 충혼탑에서 순국선열과 호국영령의 숭고한 희생을 기리고, 병오년 새해 시민의 안녕을 기원하는 참배로 2026년 공식 일정을 시작했다.
이날 충혼탑 참배에는 이양수 국회의원(속초·인제·고성·양양), 김시성 강원특별자치도의회의장, 방원욱 속초시의회의장을 비롯한 시·도의원과 관내 보훈단체 회원 등 100여 명이 참석해 의미를 더했다.
이어 오전 10시에는 시청 대회의실에서 직원 200여 명이 참석한 가운데 2026년도 시무식이 열렸다. 시무식에서는 시민의 행복과 속초 발전을 위한 각오를 다지며 새해 시정 운영의 출발을 알렸다.
