[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 해군교육사령부(이하 교육사)는 병역자원 감소 등 변화하는 국방 인력환경에 대응하고, 10개 지역으로 분산되어 있던 모병책임부대 기능을 일원화해 작전부대의 모병활동 부담을 경감시키기 위한 ‘해군모병센터'를 지난 2일 창설했다.
해군교육사 행정부 소속 해군모병센터는 10개 지역 모병책임부대와 지역 모병관 중심으로 수행하던 모집홍보업무를 통합하여 운영하기 위한 전담조직으로, 기존 모병책임부대에서 수행하던 선발전형, 모집홍보, 모병관 인사관리 및 근무지원 등의 임무와 기능을 조정하여 수행할 예정이다.
