관내 15개 읍면동 순회하며 새해 시정 추진 방향 공유
이완섭 시장 “낮은 자세로 현장의 작은 목소리까지 시정에 담을 것”
충남 서산시가 2026년 새해를 맞아 지역 주민의 생생한 목소리를 직접 청취하고 이를 시정에 반영하기 위한 소통 행보에 나선다.
서산시는 오는 1월 12일부터 23일까지 관내 15개 읍면동을 순회하며 ‘2026년 시민과의 대화’를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 이번 행사는 현장의 생생한 민원을 수렴하고 시정 주요 현안에 대한 시민의 이해와 협력을 구하기 위해 마련됐다.
이번 시민과의 대화는 12일 대산읍을 시작으로 열흘간의 대장정에 돌입한다.
첫째 주에는 ▲12일 대산읍 ▲13일 인지면·부석면 ▲14일 팔봉면 ▲15일 지곡면·성연면 ▲16일 음암면을 차례로 방문한다. 이어 둘째 주에는 ▲19일 운산면 ▲20일 해미면·고북면 ▲21일 수석동·동문1동 ▲22일 동문2동·부춘동을 거쳐 ▲23일 석남동에서 일정을 마무리할 예정이다.
대화는 오전 10시와 오후 2시로 나누어 하루 최대 2개 지역에서 진행하며, 회당 약 2시간 동안 시민과의 격의 없는 질의응답이 이어진다.
이완섭 서산시장은 이번 순방에서 경제·산업, 문화·관광, 건설·교통, 농업·청년 등 시정 전 분야에 걸쳐 주민과 머리를 맞댄다. 특히 단순한 민원 수렴을 넘어 마을 단위의 숙원 사업과 지역 발전 방안에 대해 현장에서 직접 답변하고 함께 고민하는 시간을 가질 계획이다.
시는 현장에서 제기된 시민의 제안과 건의 사항을 해당 부서의 검토를 거쳐 시정에 적극 반영하고, 추진 상황을 시민에게 투명하게 공개할 방침이다.
