브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 중소벤처기업부와 소상공인연합회가 8일부터 쿠팡 사태로 인한 입점업체 피해 사실 파악을 위해 ‘쿠팡 사태 소상공인 피해 신고센터’를 운영한다.
최근 소비자들 사이에서 정보 보안 불안감으로 인한 ‘쿠팡 탈퇴’ 움직임이 확산되면서, 입점 소상공인들의 매출 감소 우려가 커지고 있다.
그동안은 이러한 피해를 집계할 전용 창구가 부재했으나, 이번 신고센터 개설을 통해 체계적인 현황 파악이 가능해질 전망이다.
신고센터는 소상공인연합회 홈페이지 내 온라인 창구로 운영되며, 매출 감소 등 직간접적 피해를 입은 소상공인은 누구나 접수할 수 있다.
소상공인연합회 회원사 및 지역연합회 등을 통해 쿠팡사태 관련 피해조사를 진행해 현장의 목소리를 폭넓게 수렴한다는 계획이다.
중소벤처기업부는 피해조사 결과를 바탕으로 쿠팡 입점업체들의 현황을 파악하고, 피해 소상공인에 대한 지원방안을 마련할 계획이다. 또한, 피해 신고센터에 접수된 피해사례들은 ‘쿠팡 사태 범정부TF’에 공유하여 정부 차원의 대응 방안을 강구할 예정이다.
송치영 소상공인연합회장은 “쿠팡 사태가 벌어진 지 두 달째로 접어들고 있는데도 누구 하나 책임지는 사람이 없어 쿠팡 입점 소상공인들의 고통은 극에 달한 상황”이라며 “소상공인 대표단체가 직접 나서 쿠팡 입점 소상공인들의 피해를 접수받아 중소벤처기업부에 전달, 범정부 차원의 대응방안을 모색한다는 데 큰 의미가 있다”고 말했다.
