[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] ‘아라가야의 숨결로 빚어낸 명품, 함안곶감’을 주제로 제15회 함안곶감축제가 오는 23일부터 25일까지 함안체육관 일원에서 개최된다.
이번 축제는 임금님도 반한 명품 곶감으로 알려진 함안곶감의 명성에 걸맞은 뛰어난 품질의 수시곶감을 선보인다.
함안수시감은 다른 품종의 감에 비해 무게는 제일 가볍지만, 홍시가 되었을 때 당도가 높고 향이 진한 것이 특징이다.
여기에 한겨울 함안의 맑은 바람과 농가의 정성과 노력이 더해져 전국에서도 손꼽히는 맛을 자랑하는 곶감으로 탄생한다.
모양이 예쁘고 색이 선명해 조선 숙종 때부터 궁중 진상품으로 올랐을 만큼 맛과 품질이 뛰어난 것으로 평가받고 있다.
축제는 아라앙상블의 식전 공연을 시작으로 다양한 체험행사와 직거래장터가 열린다.
또 ‘노래가 좋다’의 박상현과 ‘미스트롯’ 출신 제이린이, 국악가수 황인아와 ‘미스터트롯’ 출신 최수호가 축하공연을 펼치며, 함안곶감축제의 대표 행사인 ‘곶감말이떡 만들기’ 행사와 ‘곶감 노래자랑 대회’는 해마다 많은 지역민의 사랑을 받고 있다.
