군은 이번 특별조정교부금 확보를 위해 경기도청을 직접 방문해 지난해 7월 발생한 집중호우로 대규모 복구비가 투입되면서 각종 현안 사업 추진을 위한 추가 재원이 절실하다는 점을 적극 설명했다.
확보된 특별조정교부금은 생활안전 기반시설 기능 개선을 비롯해 집중호우로 파손된 상하수도 시설 복구, 하천 복구공사 등 총 9개 사업에 투입될 예정이다.
군 관계자는 “특별조정교부금으로 43억 원의 추가 재원을 확보함에 따라 군민을 위한 각종 사업 추진에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다”며 “앞으로도 군민 삶의 질 향상과 정주여건 개선을 위한 사업 추진에 필요한 외부 재원 확보에 적극 나서겠다”고 밝혔다.
