청와대가 12일 이재명 대통령이 국내 종교계 지도자들과 청와대에서 오찬 간담회릉 갖고 국민 통합 의견을 청취한다고 전했다.
강유정 대변인은 이날 오전 서면 브리핑에서 “이 대통령이 신년을 맞아 청와대에서 국내 주요 종교 지도자들을 초청해 오찬 겸 간담회 ‘종교와 함께 국민통합의 길로’ 행사를 연다”고 밝혔다.
그러면서 “새해를 맞아 국민 통합·사회적 신뢰 회복이란 시대적 과제를 재차 확인하고, 분열·갈등을 넘어 상생·통합 길로 나아가기 위해 종교계 지혜·역량을 경청하기 위해 마련됐다”고 덧붙였다.
이 자리는 앞서 지난 2025년 7월 9일 용산 대통령실에서 열린 국내 7개 종교 지도자 11명 초청 오찬 간담회에 이어 두 번째다.,
불교계 조계종 총무원장 진우스님·천태종 총무원장 덕수스님·태고종 총무원장 상진스님과 기독교계 한국교회총연합 대표회장 김정석 목사·한국기독교교회협의회 총무 박승렬 목사·한국기독교총연합회 대표회장 고경환 목사 등이 참석한다.
또 천주교 서울대교구 정순택 대주교·한국천주교주교회의 의장 이용훈 주교와 원불교 나상호 교정원장·유교 최종수 성균관장·천도교 박인준 교령·한국민족종교협의회 김령하 회장 등이 함께 한다.
