인천도서관에 따르면, ‘똘레랑스 인문사회 특강’은 2021년부터 한국외국어대학교 국제지역연구센터와 협력해 추진해 온 인문사회 프로그램으로, 세계와 지역, 역사와 현실을 아우르는 다양한 주제를 통해 시민들에게 실용적인 글로벌 지식을 제공하고 있다.
올해 특강은 대륙별 역사와 경제 정세는 물론 문화예술까지 아우르는 총 6개 강좌 18차시로 구성됐다.
세계와 만난 한국사(2월), 동남아 3대 경제의 재발견(4월), 영화에 투영된 라틴아메리카 현대사(6월,) 유럽사의 빛과 그림자(8월), 세계의 웰니스 문화(10월), 문학과 회화의 만남(12월) 등 각 분야 전문가의 깊이 있는 강연이 이어질 예정이다.
