[브레이크뉴스 동두천=김완영 기자] 경기도 동두천시 송내동은 오전 10시부터 12시까지 송내동 행정복지센터에서「2026년 동두천시 송내동 시민과의 대화」지난 13일에 개최했다.
이번 행사는 2026년 새해를 맞아 시민과 직접 소통하고 현장의 목소리를 시정에 반영하기 위해 마련된 자리로, 박형덕 동두천시장을 비롯해 도의원·시의원, 송내동 사회단체장 및 시민 등 120여 명이 참석했다.
이날 시민과의 대화에서는 ▲시 경계선 입구 조형물 설치 ▲파크골프장 주차장 추가 설치 ▲송내동 청사 주민자치프로그램실 바닥 난방 설치 ▲안골 지역 도시가스 공급 진행 상황 등 지역 현안과 생활 밀착형 건의사항이 폭넓게 논의됐다.
박형덕 시장은 “시민 여러분의 소중한 의견 하나하나가 동두천시 발전의 밑거름”이라며 “앞으로도 시민과의 지속적인 소통을 통해 함께 만들어가는 시정을 실현해 나가겠다”라고 말했다.
임은승 송내동장은 “이번 시민과의 대화는 2026년 새해를 여는 첫 소통의 자리로서 의미가 크다”라며 “건의된 사항은 관련 부서와 함께 적극 검토해 시정에 반영될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
