2026 Songnae-dong Citizen Dialogue Held
"The First Communication Event of the New Year... Implementing a City Governance that Collaborates by Listening to Citizens' Opinions"
[Break News Dongducheon=Reporter Kim Wan-young] Songnae-dong, Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province, held the "2026 Dongducheon Songnae-dong Citizen Dialogue" on the 13th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Songnae-dong Administrative Welfare Center.
This event, designed to directly communicate with citizens and reflect their voices in city administration as the new year approaches in 2026, was attended by approximately 120 people, including Dongducheon Mayor Park Hyung-deok, provincial and city council members, Songnae-dong community group leaders, and residents.
The dialogue broadly discussed local issues and suggestions closely related to daily life, including the installation of a sculpture at the city boundary entrance, the addition of a parking lot at Park Golf Course, the installation of underfloor heating in the Songnae-dong Office's Resident Autonomy Program Room, and the progress of city gas supply in the Angol area.
Mayor Park Hyung-deok stated, "Each and every valuable opinion from our citizens is the foundation for the development of Dongducheon City. We will continue to communicate with our citizens and strive to create a city administration that fosters collaboration."
Songnae-dong Mayor Lim Eun-seung stated, "This dialogue with citizens is significant as the first opportunity for communication in the new year of 2026. We will actively review the suggestions with relevant departments and strive to incorporate them into city administration."
Meanwhile, Songnae-dong plans to continue to communicate with its residents, striving to implement field-oriented administration and policies that align with their needs.
