고양시립꽃향기어린이집, 떡 판매 수익금 51만원 기부

고양시향동종합사회복지관은 13일 고양시립꽃향기어린이집으로부터 지역 이웃을 위한 후원금 51만원을 전달받았다.

이날 진행된 후원금 전달식에서 고양시립꽃향기어린이집은 떡 판매로 마련한 수익금 전액을 기부했다.

이번 후원금은 어린이집 교직원과 학부모들이 함께 참여해 모은 것으로 알려졌다.

복지관 측은 전달받은 후원금을 지역 내 취약계층을 위한 식생활지원사업 등 각종 복지사업에 활용할 계획이다.

양복선 관장은 "아이들과 지역사회가 함께 만든 소중한 후원금이기에 더욱 뜻깊다"며 "후원금은 지역 내 도움이 필요한 분들을 위해 의미 있게 사용하겠다"고 밝혔다.

고영옥 원장은 "아이들이 나눔의 의미를 자연스럽게 배우고 함께 참여할 수 있는 뜻깊은 시간이었다"며 "앞으로도 지역사회를 위한 나눔 활동에 지속적으로 동참하겠다"고 말했다.

한편 고양시향동종합사회복지관은 지역 내 기관 및 단체와의 협력을 통해 지속가능한 나눔문화 조성을 위한 활동을 이어가고 있다.
