[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 남해군은 양왕용 부산대학교 명예교수를 남해유배문학관 명예관장으로 위촉했다고 14일 밝혔다.

양왕용 명예관장은 남해군 창선면 출신으로, 1966년 은사 김춘수 시인으로부터 추천을 받아 시인으로 등단했다.

이후 34년간 부산대학교 사범대학 국어교육과에서 교수로 재직했으며, 현재는 퇴임 후에도 명예교수로 후학을 지도하고 있다.

양왕용 명예관장은 앞으로 남해유배문학관의 주요 문화 콘텐츠 기획과 자문을 통해 문학관의 위상을 높이는 한편, 다양한 프로그램 개발에도 적극적으로 참여할 계획이다.

특히 지역사회와 긴밀하게 협력해 문학이 일상에 자연스럽게 녹아드는 '살아있는 문학관'을 만들어나갈 예정이다.
