브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 쿠팡이 개인정보 유출 사고에 대한 피해보상으로 1인당 5만원 구매 이용권을 15일 오전부터 순차적으로 지급하기 시작했다.
지급 대상은 개인정보 유출 통지를 받은 와우회원·일반회원·탈퇴회원 등 3370만명이다.
쿠팡이 발표한 보상안에 따르면 5만 원권은 단일 쿠폰이 아닌 네 가지 서비스로 나눠 지급된다. 구체적으로는 △쿠팡 전 상품(로켓배송 등) 5000원 △쿠팡이츠 5000원 △쿠팡트래블 2만원 △알럭스(명품 전문몰) 2만원권이다.
이번 이용권은 3개월(4월 15일까지) 유효기간 내에 사용해야 하며, 기간이 지나면 자동 소멸된다. 또한, 하나의 상품에 한 장의 이용권만 적용 가능하며, 이용권 금액보다 낮은 가격의 상품을 구매할 경우 차액은 환불되지 않는다.
일례로, 쿠팡트래블에서 1만5000원권 상품을 결제할 때 2만원권을 사용하면 남은 5000원은 그대로 소멸되는 방식이다.
