브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 2025년 전체 자동차 수출액은 총 720억불로 집계됐다. 기존 최대 실적인 2023년 709억불을 훌쩍 넘어서면서, 역대 자동차 수출액 최고 기록을 경신하고, 3년 연속 700억불을 돌파했다.
특히, 친환경차(△전기차 △수소전기차 △하이브리드차 △플러그인 하이브리드) 수출액은 258억불로 2024년보다 11% 증가했으며, 하이브리드차가 역대 최대 수출액(148억불, 2024년 대비 30.0%↑)을 달성한 덕분이다. 또한, 중고차 수출액도 한국차에 대한 이미지 개선, 고환율 등으로 역대 최고치(88억7000만불, 2024년 대비 75.1%↑)를 경신했다.
15일 산업통상부에 따르면 2025년 국내 자동차 생산량은 410만대(2024년 대비 0.6%↓)로 3년 연속 400만대를 돌파했다.

산업통상부는 “2025년은 미국 관세 부과로 자동차산업에 위기가 드리워진 한해였으나, 친환경차·이차전지 경쟁력 강화 방안, 미국 자동차 관세 대응 긴급 대책, 미국 관세협상 후속지원대책 등 대책과 함께 미국 관세 협상 타결로 불확실성이 해소되면서 역대 최대 수출액인 720억불을 달성할 수 있었다”며 “2026년 자동차 산업도 미래 산업 경쟁력 확충과 함께 수출동력이 강화될 수 있도록 최선을 다해 지원할 계획이다”고 전했다.
