남동구에 따르면, 이번 위원회는 ‘제8기(2023~2026) 남동구 지역보건의료계획’에 대한 2025년 시행 결과 및 2026년 시행계획안을 심의하기 위해 개최됐다.
남동구 제8기 지역보건의료계획은 ‘누구나 건강한 삶을 누리는 건강 도시 남동구’라는 비전 아래 지역사회 감염병 대응 및 보건의료 역량 강화, 지역사회 기반 건강증진 체계 구현, 지역 내 다분야 협력을 통한 삶의 질 향상 등 3개 전략, 10개 추진 과제를 담고 있다.
심의위원회에는 위원장인 남동구 김충진 부구청장의 주재로 보건의료 및 학계 전문가 등 30여 명이 참석한 가운데 제8기 연차별 수립안을 심의·확정했다.
