[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 의령군은 군민과 함께 군정 운영 방향과 지역 현안을 공유하기 위해 ‘2026년 군민과의 대화’를 15일부터 23일까지 13개 읍·면을 순회하며 개최한다.
군민과의 대화는 군정 주요 정책과 의령의 미래 비전을 설명하고, 지역 주민들의 생생한 의견을 직접 듣기 위한 소통의 장으로 마련됐다.
첫 일정인 15일 의령읍사무소 3층 회의실에서 열린 군민과의 대화에서는 위험 수목 신속 처리, 전선 지중화 사업 확대, 도서관 문화프로그램 개설, 서천발원지 둘레길 조성 및 관리 방안 등 생활과 밀접한 다양한 건의 사항이 제시됐다.
참석자들은 일상 속 불편과 지역 발전을 위한 의견을 자유롭게 제안했으며, 군은 건의 내용에 대해 현장에서 설명하고 향후 검토 방향을 공유하며 소통의 시간을 가졌다.
오태완 군수는 “주민 의견을 바탕으로 정책의 타당성과 지속성을 높이겠다”며 “군민과의 대화를 통해 군정 방향을 점검하겠다”고 말했다.
이번 군민과의 대화 기간에는 부림일반산업단지와 지정면 기초생활거점 조성사업 등 주요 현안을 직접 살펴보는 일정도 함께 진행될 예정이다.
군은 이번 군민과의 대화를 통해 접수된 건의 사항을 담당 부서별로 시급성과 시행 가능성 등을 검토해 군정에 반영할 계획이다.
한편, 군민과의 대화 일정은 15일 의령읍을 시작으로 16일 가례면·화정면, 19일 칠곡면·대의면, 20일 용덕면·정곡면, 21일 지정면·낙서면, 22일 부림면·봉수면, 23일 궁류면·유곡면 순으로 진행될 예정이다.
