이번 생거진천배 전국 유소년 축구 패스티벌은 진천군 체육회(회장 김화영)과 진천군축구협회(회장 김중기)의 주최·주관으로 전국 각지의 유소년 선수들의 경기력 향상과 건전한 스포츠 문화 조성을 위해 마련됐다.
축구 페스티벌은 전국 36개 팀 300여 명이 초등학교 4학년부, 5학년부, 6학년부 풀리그 방식으로 진천종합스포츠타운, 진천역사테마공원, 광혜원 생활체육공원에서 진행된다.
생거진천배 전국 유소년 축구 페스티벌 개회식은 오는 24일 진천종합스포츠타운에서 열리며, 송기섭 진천군수, 이재명 진천군의회 의장 등이 참석한다.
