고양특례시 덕양구보건소가 겨울철 한파로 인한 건강 피해를 예방하기 위해 건강취약계층을 대상으로 한 집중관리 사업을 펼치고 있다.
보건소는 3월 15일까지 덕양구 내 건강취약계층을 대상으로 한파기 방문건강관리 집중관리 사업을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

보건소는 지난해 11월 15일부터 한파특보가 발효될 때마다 취약계층의 안전을 확인하기 위해 직접 방문과 전화 안부를 병행하고 있다.
또한 경로당과 보건소 프로그램 참여자를 대상으로 한파 대응 교육을 실시해 예방수칙과 행동요령을 집중 안내하고 있다.
특히 겨울철 건강위험이 높은 어르신들에게 인플루엔자 예방접종 정보를 제공하는 등 감염병 예방에도 힘쓰고 있다.
기상청 한파특보에 따라 운영되는 '안심콜 서비스'를 통해서는 독거노인 가정에 직접 방문하거나 전화로 건강상태를 확인하고, 필요 시 119와 1339로 즉시 연계해 응급상황에 신속하게 대응하고 있다.
인공지능 기반의 '건강지킴이 로봇안심전화(AI케어콜)'도 도입해 비대면으로 안전관리 안내와 건강 확인을 수행하고 있다.
이와 함께 보건소는 한파로 인한 피해를 최소화하기 위해 취약계층에게 필요한 한파대응 물품을 구입해 배부하는 등 지역 내 건강취약계층이 혹한기에도 안전하게 지낼 수 있도록 다각적인 보호체계를 강화하고 있다.
