“당신의 문장이 창원의 봄이 됩니다”... ‘우리말 공감 글귀’ 공모

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 겨울의 끝자락에서 창원특례시가 시민들의 따뜻한 감성이 담긴 ‘봄의 언어’를 찾는다. 시는 오는 23일부터 내달 4일까지, 도심 곳곳을 희망으로 채울 ‘우리말 공감 글귀 봄편’을 공개 모집한다고 밝혔다.

이번 공모는 시민들이 직접 만든 문장을 통해 서로를 다독이는 ‘감성 행정’의 일환으로, 선정된 문구는 오는 2월 25일 발행되는 창원시보를 시작으로, 시청사 전광판과 시내 78개소의 전자게시판(DID)에 게시되어 창원 전역에 봄기운을 전파하게 된다.

응모를 원하는 시민은 시 누리집에 올려져 있는 신청서를 내려받아 작성한 후 시 공보관 담당자 앞으로 이메일(lswb25@korea.kr)을 보내거나 우편 발송(성산구 중앙대로 151 창원시청 공보관) 또는 직접 방문해 제출하면 된다. 1인당 1편 제출이 원칙이며, 인용한 글귀를 제출하는 경우엔 도서명, 출판사명 등 정확한 출처를 기재해야 한다.

시는 접수된 문안을 대상으로 창원시보편집위원회 심사를 통해 봄편 글귀를 선정할 예정이다. 선정된 사람에게는 소정의 원고료도 지급한다.

이동호 창원시 국어책임관(공보관)은 “때로는 길가에서 우연히 마주한 짧은 글에서도 큰 울림을 받을 때가 있다”라면서 “시민들께서 평소 소중하게 간직해온 글귀로 팍팍한 일상에 희망을 나눠 주셨으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 창원시는 지난해 6월부터 12월까지 7회에 걸쳐 문학작품 속 ‘우리말 공감 글귀’를 선정해 시민들에게 안내한 바 있다. 이를 통해 시민들이 일상에서 따뜻한 감성을 느낄 수 있도록 돕는 동시에, 지역 작가와 작품도 소개했다.

At the end of winter, Changwon Special City is seeking the "language of spring," embodying the warm emotions of its citizens. The city announced that it will be holding an open call for entries for the "Korean Empathy Phrases Spring Edition," which will fill the city with hope, from February 23rd to February 4th.

This contest is part of a "emotional administration" initiative where citizens can share their own phrases to encourage one another. The selected phrases will be published in the Changwon City Newsletter, which will be published on February 25th, and on the electronic display boards at City Hall and 78 digital bulletin boards (DIDs) in the city, spreading the spirit of spring throughout Changwon.

Citizens interested in participating can download and complete the application form from the city's website and submit it by email (lswb25@korea.kr), mail (Public Relations Office, Changwon City Hall, 151 Jungang-daero, Seongsan-gu), or in person.
