브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= SK텔레콤은 안전보건 협력사 169곳을 초청해 지난 한 해 동안 노고에 감사의 뜻을 전하고, 협력 방향 및 계획을 공유하기 위한 행사를 개최했다고 22일 밝혔다.
을지로 SKT타워에서 개최한 이번 행사에는 류정환 SKT 안전보건 최고 경영책임자(CSPO), 최훈원 안전보건실장 등 SKT 주요 임원들과 최우수 안전보건 협력사들로 선정된 기업의 대표이사를 비롯, 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.
이날 행사에서 SKT는 참석한 협력사들과 함께 2026년도 안전보건 상생 협력 계획을 공유하며 작업현장에서 ‘흔들리지 않는 단단한 안전’이라는 기본과 원칙을 충실히 이행할 것을 다짐했다.
SKT는 협력사의 안전역량 강화를 위해 안전 심화 교육, 1:1 맞춤 방문 컨설팅, 안전체험교육관 운영, 협력사 안전공모전 등 다양한 프로그램을 지원할 계획이다.
이번 행사에 참가한 기업 중 안전보건 실천 최우수 기업 11개사를 선정, 시상식도 개최했다.
SKT는 야간 도로 굴착 및 관로 이설을 하거나 깊이 2.5미터 이상 맨홀 내부 선통 작업 시 안전수칙을 철저히 지킨 모범 기업 8곳과 작업자의 안전과 생명이 위태로울 수 있는 상황에서 즉각적인 대처를 했던 우수 기업 3곳을 선정해 최우수상을 수여했다고 설명했다.
류정환 SKT 안전보건 최고경영책임자(CSPO)는 “협력사의 안전이 곧 SKT의 안전이라는 인식을 바탕으로 협력사 직원들의 안전보건 역량 강화에 대한 지원을 지속할 것”이라며 “앞으로도 작업현장 안전 지원을 위한 AI 안전기술 및 협력사 지원 교육 콘텐츠와 시스템을 계속 강화해 나갈 것이다”고 말했다.
