충남 서산시가 세대·계층 간의 디지털 격차를 줄이고, 시민 누구나 일상 속에서 편리하게 기술을 활용할 수 있는 환경을 조성하고, 시민들의 디지털 역량 강화를 위해 올해 1월부터 11월까지 ‘2026년 시민정보화교육’을 연중 운영한다고 22일 밝혔다.
교육은 서산시 평생학습관 전산교육장(안견로 252, 3층)에서 진행되며, 컴퓨터 기초부터 문서작성, 엑셀·파워포인트, 스마트폰 및 키오스크 활용, 인공지능(AI) 실습 등 다양한 과정으로 구성됐다. 특히 참여자의 수준에 맞춰 초급에서 자격증 취득까지 단계별 교육이 마련돼 실생활과 직무에서 활용도를 높일 수 있다.
시민들의 관심이 높은 ‘스마트폰 및 키오스크 활용 과정’은 디지털 기기에 익숙하지 않은 시민과 노년층을 대상으로 실습 위주로 진행된다. 시는 이를 통해 공공기관·은행·병원 등 무인기기를 활용하는 데 어려움을 줄이고, 주민들이 디지털 행정·생활 서비스에 보다 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 한다는 계획이다.
또한, 최근 인공지능 기술이 일상과 산업 전반에 확산됨에 따라 AI 활용 과정을 신설해 시민들이 디지털 전환 시대의 변화에 능동적으로 대응할 수 있도록 지원한다.
교육 대상은 서산시민 누구나 신청 가능하며, 과정당 정원은 30명이다. 수강료는 전액 무료로, 각 강좌는 개강 2주 전 월요일부터 선착순으로 접수된다.
