[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 함양군은 올해 민선8기 군정 슬로건을 ‘천년의 숲, 새로운 백년’을 주제로 잘 살고 잘 오는 함양을 만들겠다는 다짐을 밝혔다.
진병영 함양군수는 23일 신년 기자간담회를 갖고 그간 추진해 온 주요 정책과 사업 진행 상황을 공유하고, 2026년 도시·경제·관광·복지 등 분야별 정책 계획을 설명했다.
진 군수는 "현장 중심 행정 강화를 위해 주요 사업장 점검과 함께 마을 단위 소통을 확대해 왔으며, 2025년부터는 관내 마을을 대상으로 ‘찾아가는 마을 간담회’를 추진해 군민 의견을 행정에 반영하는 노력을 이어가고 있다"고 밝혔다.
이어 "함양군은 지리산 풍경길 59.5km가 국토교통부 대한민국 제1호 관광도로로 지정됐고, 국립 남부권산불방지센터 건립이 최종 확정돼 남부권 산불 예방의 핵심 거점으로 자리매김하게 됐다"고 설명했다.
이와 함께 ▲전국 최초 계절근로자 전용 기숙사 건립 ▲양파 기계화 롤모델 개발 ▲반려동물 특화 자연휴양림 운영 ▲경남 최초 논스톱 통합돌봄센터 개소 ▲염소경매시장 개장 등 선제적 행정을 이어왔다.
