[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 사천시는 계약 체결 과정에서 반복적으로 요구되던 각종 서류로 인한 불편을 줄이기 위해 오는 2월 1일부터 ‘계약이행 통합서약서’를 전 부서 및 읍·면·동에서 시행한다고 밝혔다.
그동안 계약을 체결하는 과정에서 계약 상대자는 최대 15종에 달하는 서류를 각각 작성, 제출해야 함에 따라 서류 누락이나 오기로 인한 재방문, 대금 지급 지연 등의 불편이 이어져 왔다.
이에 사천시는 계약체결과 대금청구 과정에서 제출되는 각종 서류를 하나의 통합 서식으로 대체해 계약 상대자의 시간과 부담을 크게 줄이고 단순·반복적인 행정처리 축소로 계약 업무 전반의 효율성을 높인다는 방침이다.
박동식 시장은 “이번 개선을 통해 계약상대자의 행정 부담을 줄이고 계약 업무의 효율성을 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 현장에서 체감할 수 있는 행정 개선을 지속해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
