Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province, Selected for the "2026 360-Degree Anywhere Care" Program for the Third Consecutive Year
It is truly meaningful to once again take the lead in eliminating blind spots in disability care services.
[Break News, Dongducheon = Reporter Kim Wan-young] The Dongducheon City Disability Day and Short-Term Care Center has been selected for the "2026 360-Degree Anywhere Care Disability Care Weekend and Holiday Program" project for the third consecutive year, once again proving its role as a key institution for disability care in the region.
On the 21st, the Bukbu Nurim Center held an agreement signing ceremony and orientation for the selected organizations for the "2026 360-Degree Anywhere Care Disability Care Weekend and Holiday Program." A total of 31 sites were selected for this project, of which 23 were finalists and 8 were conditionally selected.
The Dongducheon City Disability Day and Short-Term Care Center has secured a total of 30 million won in funding, following its success in 2024 and 2025, and its selection for 2026.
The "360-Degree Care Anywhere" project is a key Gyeonggi Province care initiative designed to address the gaps in 365-day emergency care and weekend and holiday care for individuals with disabilities who have struggled to receive adequate support within the existing system despite their need for care.
Through this project, the center plans to operate a customized program themed "Spring, Spring, Spring 360-Degree Care Anywhere Together." The program will be structured around four areas: "Feeling" (art activities), "Filling" (gardening activities), "Smiling" (exercise activities), and "Embracing" (outing activities). The program will reflect the individual characteristics and needs of each participant and be divided into four areas: "Feeling" (art activities), "Filling" (gardening activities), "Smiling" (exercise activities), and "Embracing" (outing activities).
Park Min-young, director of the facility, said, "It is truly meaningful that we can once again lead the way in eliminating blind spots in disability care services through the 360-degree Anywhere Care project in 2026." She added, "Like the program's name suggests, I hope this will be a time to gift a warm and happy spring to Gyeonggi-do participants."
