[브레이크뉴스 동두천=김완영 기자] 경기도 동두천시장애인주간·단기보호센터가 ‘2026년 360도 어디나 돌봄 장애 돌봄 주말·휴일 프로그램’ 사업에 3년 연속 선정되며, 지역 장애인 돌봄의 핵심 기관으로서 역할을 다시 한번 입증했다.
지난 21일 북부누림센터에서는 「360도 어디나 돌봄 장애 돌봄 주말·휴일 프로그램 운영 선정기관 협약식 및 오리엔테이션이 진행됐다. 이번 사업에는 총 31개소가 선정됐으며, 이 가운데 23개소는 최종 선정, 8개소는 조건부 선정됐다.
동두천시장애인주간·단기보호센터는 2024년과 2025년에 이어 2026년에도 연속 선정되는 성과를 거두며, 총 3천만 원의 사업비를 확보했다.
‘360도 어디나 돌봄’ 사업은 돌봄 욕구가 있음에도 기존 제도 안에서 충분한 지원을 받기 어려웠던 장애인을 대상으로, 365일 긴급 보호와 주말·휴일 돌봄 공백을 해소하기 위해 추진되는 경기도 핵심 돌봄 사업이다.
센터는 이번 사업을 통해 ‘봄·봄·봄 360도 어디나 돌봄 함께해봄’을 주제로 한 맞춤형 프로그램을 운영할 예정이다. 프로그램은 이용인의 개인별 특성과 욕구를 반영해 미술활동 ‘느껴봄’, 원예활동 ‘채워봄’, 운동활동 ‘웃어봄’, 나들이활동 ‘품어봄’ 등 총 4개 영역으로 구성된다.
박민영 시설장은 “2026년에도 360도 어디나 돌봄 사업을 통해 장애인 돌봄 서비스의 사각지대를 해소하는 데 다시 한번 앞장설 수 있어 매우 뜻깊다”며 “프로그램 이름처럼 경기도 참여자분들께 따뜻하고 행복한 봄을 선물하는 시간이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
