세종특별자치시교육청 학교지원본부(이하 세종학교지원본부)가 인공지능(AI) 기술을 시설 지원 업무에 전격 도입하며 교육 행정의 디지털 대전환에 박차를 가하고 있다.
세종학교지원본부 시설지원부는 지난 26일, 부서 전 직원을 대상으로 AI와 데이터 활용 역량을 키우기 위한 실무 교육을 실시하며 디지털 행정 혁신의 첫발을 뗐다.
이번 교육은 올해 1월 학교 정보화 지원 체계를 강화하기 위해 신설된 ‘정보화지원팀’의 주도로 추진되었다. 전산 전문 인력이 팀장을 맡은 정보화지원팀은 학교 시설 행정이 가진 ‘반복적이고 정형화된 업무가 많다’는 특성에 주목했다.
AI 기술을 통해 이러한 소모적 업무를 줄이고, 확보된 시간을 보다 세밀한 시설 점검과 전문적인 행정 서비스에 투입하겠다는 전략이다.

주요 교육 내용은 시설 관리 업무의 고질적인 부담을 덜어줄 수 있는 기술들로 채워졌다. 공문이나 회의록 작성을 AI로 자동화하는 방법은 물론, 특히 기술 지침과 법령이 중요한 시설 업무의 특성을 고려해 AI의 오답(환각 현상)을 방지하는 ‘노트북엘엠(NotebookLM)’ 활용법이 비중 있게 다뤄졌다.
또한, 방대한 시설 데이터를 AI로 분석해 시각화하는 기법을 실습하며, 데이터에 기반한 의사결정 체계를 구축하는 방법도 공유되었다. 참석한 직원들은 실제 업무 사례를 바탕으로 AI 프롬프트를 직접 설계해보며 기술이 행정 현장을 어떻게 바꾸는지 직접 체험하는 시간을 가졌다.
