[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 밀양시는 복잡한 인·허가 절차로 인한 시민 불편을 해소하고 반복 민원을 예방하기 위해 운영 중인 ‘인·허가 사전컨설팅’이 시민과 관련 업계로부터 큰 호응을 얻고 있다고 27일 밝혔다.
이 서비스는 본격적인 허가 신청 전, 법령 위반 여부나 절차상 문제점을 미리 검토해 주는 제도다.
허가과에서 매일 오전 11시에 관내 민원인과 건축사, 토목설계사를 대상으로 운영하며, 사전 상담을 통해 민원 처리의 신속성과 정확성을 높이고 있다.
특히 관련 법령과 규정을 면밀히 검토해 인·허가 가능 여부를 미리 안내함으로써 민원 처리 기간을 단축하고, 불필요한 설계도서 작성 등을 방지해 민원인의 경제적 부담을 줄이는 데 큰 역할을 하고 있다.
상담을 원하는 시민이나 전문가는 언제든 오전 11시에 허가과를 방문하면 된다.
지난 7일부터 집중 운영된 이 서비스는 현재까지 20건의 컨설팅을 진행했다.
컨설팅을 이용한 한 건축사는 “상담이 정례화되면서 업무의 예측 가능성이 높아졌고, 설계 단계의 시행착오를 줄일 수 있어 매우 실효성 있는 제도”라고 평가했다.
박원식 허가과장은 “사전컨설팅은 단순한 상담을 넘어 시민과 행정이 소통하며 사업의 원활한 추진을 돕는 장”이라며, “앞으로도 시민이 체감할 수 있는 고품질 행정 서비스를 제공하기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
