브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 정부가 설 명절을 앞두고 고물가와 내수 부진으로 어려움을 겪는 서민들을 위해 역대 최대 규모의 민생 대책을 가동한다.
16대 성수품 공급을 평시보다 1.5배 늘리고, 전통시장과 대형마트에서 대대적인 할인 행사를 진행해 차례상 부담을 대폭 낮출 계획이다.
성수품 공급량을 늘려 가격을 최대 50%까지 낮추고, 소상공인과 취약계층에 대한 금융 및 복지 지원을 설 연휴 전 집중 투입할 방침이다.
정부는 28일 구윤철 부총리 겸 재정경제부 장관 주재로 ‘경제관계장관회의’를 열고 이 같은 내용을 담은 ‘2026년 설 민생안정대책’을 확정·발표했다.
우선, 정부는 장바구니 물가 안정을 위해 배추, 사과, 돼지고기 등 16대 성수품을 역대 최대 수준인 27만 톤 공급하기로 했다. 특히, 910억 원 규모의 할인지원을 통해 소비자 체감 가격을 최대 50%까지 낮춘다.
전통시장 이용 편의성도 대폭 개선된다. 온누리상품권 환급행사 규모를 지난해 270억 원에서 올해 330억 원으로 확대하고, 참여 시장도 농축산물 200개, 수산물 200개 시장으로 대폭 늘린다.
