고양특례시 일산동구보건소가 감염병 예방을 위한 손씻기 체험교육에 나선다.
보건소는 올바른 손씻기 습관 형성과 감염병 예방을 목적으로 손씻기 체험 교육기구 '뷰박스' 대여사업을 연중 운영한다고 밝혔다.
뷰박스는 형광로션을 손에 바른 뒤 손 씻기 전후의 상태를 비교해 세균 제거 과정을 직접 눈으로 확인할 수 있는 체험형 위생교육 도구다.

이를 통해 손씻기의 중요성을 직관적으로 이해하고 일상 속 위생 실천을 유도할 수 있다.
사업 대상은 어린이를 포함한 관내 교육기관, 의료기관, 감염취약시설 등 집단생활이 이루어지는 시설이다.
손씻기 실천이 특히 중요한 시설에서 체험형 교육을 실시함으로써 호흡기 감염병, 장관감염증 등 각종 감염병 예방 효과를 기대하고 있다.
