브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 대한제분이 설 명절을 앞두고 정부의 물가 안정화 시책에 동참하기 위해 일부 밀가루 제품 가격을 인하한다.
대한제분은 오는 2월 1일부터 시중 베이커리와 중화요리 업소, 유통업체 등에 공급하는 일부 밀가루 제품 가격을 평균 4.6% 인하한다고 밝혔다.
가격 인하 대상은 업소용 제품과 가정용 소포장 제품을 중심으로 적용된다. 업소에 공급되는 곰표고급제면용(호주산), 곰(중력 1등), 코끼리(강력 1등) 20kg 대포장 제품과 함께, 유통업체에 공급되는 3kg, 2.5kg, 1kg 제품 등이 포함됐다.
대한제분은 서민 물가와 밀접한 베이커리·외식업소 및 유통 채널 공급 제품을 중심으로 가격 인하를 결정해 체감 효과를 높이겠다는 방침이다.
대한제분 관계자는 “최근 대미 관세 협상 등 대외 변수의 불확실성이 지속되고 있지만, 원·달러 환율이 점차 안정화 추세를 보이고 있다”며 “정부의 물가 안정 기조와 소비자들의 요구에 적극 부응하기 위해 가격 인하를 결정했다”고 밝혔다. 이어 “이번 조치가 장바구니 물가 안정에 실질적인 도움이 되기를 기대한다”고 덧붙였다.
한편, CJ제일제당과 대한제분, 사조동아원 등은 기초 생필품인 밀가루 가격을 수년간 담합한 혐의로 검찰 수사를 받고 있다.
